Taming the Frizz

Hair that is dull and feels rough is typically frizzy. Some
people are born with frizzy hair; others acquire it from over- processing or improper use of hot styling tools and products. Frizzy hair is dry. When exposed to humidity, the cuticles expand, causing the hair to frizz.

Frizzy hair can be tamed. Sulfate-free shampoos are gentler on frizzy hair. A
deep, leave in conditioner coats the hair shaft, making it less likely to succumb to humidity. Squeezing rather than rubbing the hair dry with a towel is recommended, followed by combing a silicone-based serum through it.
